My little guy, Jax, who is five months already (I know, can you believe it?!), isn’t able to eat solid foods just yet but I am seriously counting down the days. I’m so looking forward to feeding him this DIY Baby Multi Grain Hot Cereal served in a Cheeky Baby bowl!
He’s starting to watch me and his dad eat food and mimic chewing so we can tell it’s coming soon, but first we have teeth cutting in and sitting up by himself to deal with before any of that happens. But if you know me, you know I am already planning on ALL the different kinds of food I’m going to be making for him (and no, I won’t be putting any googly eyes on it…well, at least not just yet). I’m making a long list of what I’m going to make, like homemade baby food and fun treats that are safe for my boy. I might start with a toddler version of my Guacadiles, Frozen Yogurt Bark, or even my Breakfast Banana Splits.
I’m even going to put this DIY Baby Multi Grain Hot Cereal into my recipe book and make it when he is able to eat it. When that day does come, this kid is going to be eating in style! Plates, bowls, sip cups, bibs, and feeding spoons; my little cutie is going to be the coolest kid on the block, all thanks to Cheeky Baby.
There are many reasons why I love Cheeky. Impeccable sense of style aside, the biggest reason that I believe in this company is for the cause that they stand behind. For every one item you buy of Cheeky at Target, they donate one meal through Feeding America and No Kid Hungry. This is something that is very near and dear to my heart because, despite the fact that I love to have fun with my food, it is not missed on me that there are kids in this country that go hungry every day. It’s also very important to me to teach my son why it’s important to help others out, so purchasing Cheeky products is like a win-win for me and my family.
Did I mention how CUTE all of their serve ware is though? Well, just let all the photos do all the talking! I think my favorite is the alligator…

Hi Cara,
This is a good recipe and the instructions are very easy to follow. The cheeky baby utensils are really cute and so is that comfy little onsie. Could you include a price range on the items soon? Quick question, do you have any substitutions for the ingredients would like to switch it up a little.

Thank you for the recipe! I would love to try that! If I don’t have coffee grinder and high speed blender, could I use food processor instead? Thank you!
