- 5 Medjool dates
- 20 O-shaped gluten free pretzels
- 5 homemade googly eyes
- 1/2 c. nondairy chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Carefully slice the pretzels in half. You will need 8 legs total for each spider.
- Insert pretzels into the body of the Medjool date.
- Gently dip the spider into the melted chocolate and allow the excess to drip off. Take a toothpick and gently separate chocolate from legs to ensure 8 perky legs appear.
- Set on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.
- Place an eyeball in the middle of the head and press down until it sets and freeze the spiders until set.
